E-mail Settings

GameCP uses PHPMailer to do all of its e-mail needs.

It can be configured in several ways. The default method has no configuration and will rely on PHP to send mail.

Settings

• Login to GameCP
• Navigate to GameCP Settings
• Click the E-mail tab
• Select the Mail Server: you want to use.
• Change Settings
• Click E-mail tab (again)
• Modify any additional settings

Default

The default setting is to use PHP's mail function.

PHP requires sendmail

• Linux: install sendmail

Gmail

• SMTP Server smtp.gmail.com
• SMTP Port 587
• Auth Type TLS
• SMTP User your gmail address
• SMTP Password the password
